CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Course

Course Overview

This course  will assist new and existing practitioners in enhancing their knowledge on how to start and effectively run a rehab program using Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds awarded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Also providing practitioners the Nuts and Bolts of the owner-occupied rehab program & acquisition rehabilitation program.

At least 1 year of experience with CDBG is recommended for this course. Participants without one year of experience are strongly encouraged to view NCDA's CDBG Primer prior to the course. Discounted registration for the CDBG Primer is provided with paid registration for the HOME Underwriting Primer. See confirmation email for discount code.

Cancelations, No-shows, Late Fees & Substitutions

Cancelation Deadline: October 2, 2026

You are considered registered upon submission of this form (regardless of payment status), unless you have been notified via email that you are on a waiting list. Once registered, you are subject to this cancellation policy. All cancelations must be made by contacting [email protected] .  

  • Cancelations made through September 18 will be refunded 100%
  • Cancelations made September 19 - October 2 will be refunded 50%
  • Cancelations made after October 2 will not be refunded.
  • No-shows will be charged 100% of the registration fee.

You may substitute another person for a paid registration at any time up to the Friday before the start of the course without additional charge by emailing [email protected] .

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS: Please do not make non-refundable travel arrangements for this course until you have been notified that the course has met the minimum number of participants. Courses are subject to cancellation if the minimum number of participants is not met.

 

TRAINING SITE
The training will be held at Marriott Hotel, 3 Statehouse Plaza, Little Rock, AR 72201

Please arrive in the training room 15 minutes early on the first day of the training for registration purposes. 


HOTEL

Training participants will be responsible for obtaining their own hotel accommodations and transportation to and from the training. Suggestion:  ask if the hotel offers government rates.  The hotels listed below are near the training site. Some MAY offer airport transportation and/or transportation to the venue. Inquire with the hotel for these services.

The training is being held adjacent to the NCDA Region IV conference. Block room rates are available at the preferred conference hotel listed below:
